About Sazzi
Welcome to my online shop of beautiful and unique handmade products. Each item listed is designed and handcrafted from my garden studio in Derbyshire, England.
I enjoy the creative process of finding a happy print and making a unique product, which hopefully will also bring joy to the recipient. I often lose track of time working in my studio, aka my happy place, surrounded by gorgeous fabrics. I design all my patterns for the makes with aesthetics as well as practicality in mind, whether it is adding pen pockets on journals or rings on coin purse so you can attach them to your bag.
As a small business owner and a maker, I’m really proud that my products are sustainable, ethical and eco-friendly. In a world of fast fashion and one-use items, I hope to make things that are durable and sustainable. I use good quality cotton and vegan cork fabric. There is no silk, wool, leather, fur or down materials in my products and I only use hollowfibre polyester filling for my cushions.
How it Started
Sazzi started through my love of fabrics and all things handmade.
As a mum of three girls who each have very individual tastes, I have had lots of experience in making creations to personalise their rooms, birthday parties and fancy dress outfits. This hobby has developed into my creating all manner of handicrafts for friends and family.
Thinking that my products may appeal to a wider audience, I started my small business five years ago, selling my makes at local craft fairs.
Where is Sazzi at now...
I now run my business full time and sell my handmade items through my online shop, gift shops and galleries and select markets.
I love my job which has taken my hobby and passion into a successful venture. If you have purchased something from me at one of the fairs or online, drop me a line as I would love to hear what you think of it or better yet, send me a picture as I love to see them in their new home.
